Terms of Service
Last updated: May 12, 2026
By submitting an audit request or purchasing an audit, you agree to these terms. If you have questions, email audit@gotitdone.net before paying.
What we deliver
Got It Done provides AI-assisted website audits at four tiers (Quick Scan, Standard, Comprehensive, Fix Pack). The contents of each tier are described on the tiers section of the homepage and inside each tier-detail panel.
Audit tiers identify issues. Fix Pack additionally implements the fixes ourselves.
Scope and "honest scope"
Every quote is scoped to a fixed price before work begins. Nothing starts until you approve the quote in writing (email is fine). If we discover during the engagement that the site is materially larger or more complex than the request indicated (for example, you submitted a 5-page brochure site and we find 200 pages), we will pause and re-quote rather than expand silently.
Fix Pack scope is bounded by the audit findings. Findings are drafted before any payment for fixes, so there is no incentive to invent extra work. If the audit surfaces fewer issues than expected, the price is still flat. If it surfaces an unusually high volume of out-of-scope items (for example, a redesign request rather than a fix list), we will flag them as out of scope and quote separately if you want them addressed.
Turnaround
Turnaround windows listed on the homepage are typical. Quick Scan is 24 hours; Standard is 1 to 2 business days; Comprehensive is 3 to 5 business days; Fix Pack is 7 to 10 business days from the date you grant access. If we are going to miss a window, we tell you before the deadline, not after.
Access for Fix Pack
Fix Pack requires admin access to your site (CMS, hosting, or repository) so we can ship the fixes. As an alternative, we can deliver patches and written deployment instructions for your developer to apply, and we verify after they ship. You are responsible for keeping any access credentials you share with us secure on your side; we destroy our copies after the engagement closes.
Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe. We accept payment up front via the tier-specific payment links, or against an emailed invoice. Audit deliverables are released after payment clears.
You can request a refund at any time before we begin work. Once findings have been delivered or fixes have been deployed, the work is non-refundable, but we will rework anything that is materially wrong at our cost.
Rescans
Rescan inclusion varies by tier and is described in each tier-detail panel. A rescan re-runs the same checks and reports what changed; it is not a second audit.
Confidentiality
Audit findings about your specific site are confidential to you. We will not share, publish, or use them as marketing material without your written permission. If you grant permission for a case study, we will agree on what is shareable in writing first; the existing case study on this site was published with the client's consent.
Anonymized, aggregated learnings (for example, "we see this issue on roughly 40% of pre-launch sites") may be referenced in our marketing without identifying any specific client.
Limitations of liability
An audit reports on the state of a website at a point in time. The site may change after the audit is delivered, including changes by you, your developer, your hosting provider, or third-party services. We are not responsible for issues introduced after the audit window closes.
Fix Pack work is verified by us before delivery. If a fix we shipped breaks something else on the site, we will fix it at no additional charge as long as you tell us within the 30-day post-fix monitoring window.
Our maximum liability for any claim arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the engagement that the claim relates to.
Acceptable use
We audit lawful business websites. We do not audit sites engaged in illegal activity, malware distribution, or content prohibited by US law. We may decline or terminate any engagement at our discretion if we discover such content during an audit; in that case any unused fees are refunded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in Hampden County, Massachusetts.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in any meaningful way, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
